ABOUT THE PROJECT

Crafting a Natural Identity for a Premium Food Brand.

Niyamaya is a homegrown brand dedicated to bringing pure, forest-sourced honey and cold-pressed oils to conscious consumers. Each product is rooted in authenticity, traceability, and storytelling—whether it’s Sundarbans Mangrove Honey, GI-tagged Litchi Honey, or Himalayan multiflora harvests.

Tessernaut partnered with Niyamaya to design its brand identity, packaging system, and e-commerce presence. The goal was to balance a sense of heritage and trust with a modern, premium aesthetic that would stand out both on shelves and online.

Overview

We approached the project with a design system that could grow with the brand:

  • Packaging & Label Design: Created a series of unique lables and gift boxes, each reflecting the geography and story of the honey’s origin.
  • Visual Identity: A warm, nature-inspired palette, refined typography, and embossed honeycomb textures established the brand’s premium positioning.
  • Storytelling: Every SKU was given its own narrative, connecting consumers to the bees, the flowers, and the regions they come from.
  • Digital Presence: Extended the system into a Shopify storefront and social campaigns, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.

Results

Successfully launched 10+ SKUs across honey and oils with cohesive branding.
Increased customer trust through transparency and origin-led storytelling.
Packaging design doubled as gifting—helping Niyamaya tap into the festive and corporate markets.
